Who Qualifies for OPWDD?
To be eligible for OPWDD services, a person generally must have a documented developmental disability that originated before age 22, is expected to continue indefinitely, and results in substantial functional limitations. Eligibility is established through OPWDD’s “Front Door” process, which involves documentation and an intake. It’s a step that overwhelms many families — and one we help with directly.
